Selling on amazon.ae
An Arabic speaking country whose store takes English as its default listing language, with Arabic accepted beside it and prices in dirham.
- Listing language
- English (Arabic also accepted)
- en-AE
- Prices in
- AED
- Not a euro market
- Amazon marketplace ID
- A2VIGQ35RCS4UG
- Amazon's published identifier
What has to change
- English is the default listing language and Arabic is accepted too. A German listing becomes English here, not Arabic.
- Prices are in UAE dirham.
- An Arabic version is written right to left in Arabic script, so a title that mixes it with a Latin brand name and model number has to be checked in the order it displays, not the order it was typed.
What a translator gets wrong
Assuming the store needs Arabic first. The default is English, and an Arabic listing is a second piece of work, written right to left.
The same title, both ways

German into English, because English is this store's default listing language.
